Du Jardin

This is a very special villa and a uniquely designed property. Hidden in the woods of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, it offers comfort, character and atmosphere. By “designed”, we refer in particular to the architectural layout. The property feels and looks as though it is partly hidden beneath the ground. We love the way the structure meanders along the slope of the hill. There is no real distinction between ground floor and first floor; the different levels flow into one another in a very organic way.

Upon entering, the kitchen is on your right and the living room is straight ahead. The living room is spacious, with the large fireplace and the enclosed patio garden by the dining table as its focal points.

We also very much appreciate the lighting design. The property features many small designer spotlights as well as larger designer lamps.

The semi-open kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. A particularly pleasant feature is the adjoining, partially covered terrace with dining table and BBQ area.

Adjacent to the living room and kitchen is the covered terrace. The dining table directly next to the kitchen is always in the shade. The BBQ is also located here.

There is a separate TV room next to the living room, featuring a large sofa for long movie nights.

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Please also see the photos for the layout.

Bedroom 1, accessible from the living area, is a very large split-level bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a traditional en-suite bathroom with shower in bathtub, washbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 2, is the master bedroom, located in the wing of the villa. It has a double bed (160x200), built-in closet space and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with double washbasin, bathtub, toilet and walk-in shower.

Bedroom 3, also located in the wing of the villa, offers a double bed (160x200). This bedroom is connected to bedroom 4. The bathroom is shared with bedroom 4 and is located in the hallway: shower, vanity unit and toilet.

Bedroom 4, also located in the wing of the villa, is a children’s room with a double bed (160x200). This bedroom is connected to bedroom 3. The bathroom is also shared with bedroom 3 and is located in the hallway: shower, vanity unit and toilet.

Hidden among tall oak trees and with beautiful views, this green oasis offers peace, privacy and complete relaxation.

As the name "Du Jardin" suggests, this is a true play paradise for children. The property sits on a wonderfully spacious plot with gentle level differences, many trees, plenty of shade and cosy little corners to hide and play. There is a table tennis table, a trampoline and the possibility to play jeu de boules.

The private swimming pool measures 9 x 5 metres. Around the pool there are 8 sun loungers and 4 parasols.

There is ample parking space on the private grounds, and access is via an attractive electronic gate.

The villa is located in a beautiful, very peaceful setting, on a kind of “island”. To reach it, you drive over an elevated viaduct, from where you have a lovely view of the village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup.

Characteristic of this region are the large, impressive rock formations. It is therefore a wonderful area for walking and hiking.

Tourrettes-sur-Loup is an old French hilltop village: very charming and offering a nice selection of restaurants and shops. For larger grocery shopping, you can go to nearby Vence.

In the artists’ village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, you can enjoy a medieval village with galleries, restaurants and, of course, the Fondation Maeght.
